Our Staff
|
|
John Bennet, MD
Dr. Bennet is a
Northeast Ohio transplant, having grown up in
Europe. He attended college at Amherst College
in Massachusetts and medical school at Albany
Medical College. Dr. Bennet completed his
pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies and
Children’s Hospital and is board certified in
pediatrics. He is a fellow of the American
Academy of Pediatrics with special interests in
integrative medicine and international adoption.
Dr. Bennet lives
with his wife, Beth and their two daughters in
Lakewood. He love music, animals and (most of
all) his family! He practices pediatric and
adolescent medicine in Westlake, OH and is now
accepting new patients.

Colleen Hughes,
MSN, RN, CPNP
Colleen graduated
from University of Iowa in 1980
and received her
masters degree in nursing from Kent State
University in 2002
She has worked as
pediatric nurse for many years.
She is married and
has two teenagers. Her interests include
hiking, biking, scrapbooking and reading.
She has
been with the Practice
since 2003.

Rosa Velez, MA
Rosa completed her MA from Total Technical
Institute with honors and had her externship in
an Urgent Care Center.
Rosa has been with Premier Pediatrics since 2006
and, as a mother of three, loves working
with children.

Beth Turk,
Billing Coordinator
Beth
handles all
medical billing and patient relations for the
practice. She attended Cuyahoga
Community College and is married with 2
children.
She has
enjoyed working with Dr. Bennet for 4 years.

Lauren
Gilchrist,
Office Staff/Front
Desk
Lauren graduated
from Eastern Michigan with a bachelors in
finance. She is currently enrolled in the
nursing program at LCCC and working on her
clinicals.
She has a dog and
a cat and enjoys knitting in her free time.
Lauren has been with the Practice since 2005 she
currently works part time.

| Sharon Perotti, RN
Sharon earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing
from Ursuline College in 1980 and has been
involved in pediatrics since 2005. She
worked at the Metro Health Medical Center for 19
years on the pediatric floor.
She
is also a pediatric clinical nursing instructor
for Lakeland Community college.
Sharon lives with her husband and has two
children.
